Practice Area & Putting Course

  

The old saying goes: practice makes perfect. Our state-of-the-art practice facilities are designed to help you practice like a pro and hone your skills while taking in the breathtaking views of the White Tank Mountains. Spend a Saturday morning with friends at the driving range, practice your short game at the chipping green, or make putting a weeknight family activity at the putting course. No matter what your skill level, our practice complex is designed to help you improve your game while spending time with your loved ones.

Golf members have unlimited access to the practice facilities. Social members may use the putting course anytime for no additional charge. The remaining practice facilities are available to SG residents for a $15 fee, or $25 for the public, both of which include up to four hours of use on one day.

Driving Range

The Sterling Grove driving range is double-sided with two tiers. Each tier is 125 yards wide and 30 yards deep, making it perfect for private instruction. The range floor is complete with target greens, and multiple bunkers surrounding each green. Once completed, players will be able to develop their long drive against the majestic backdrop of the mountain-lined community.

Putting & Chipping Greens

The expansive putting green and putting course are designed to help you focus on improving your short game. Built with the same USGA green specifications as the course itself, your will sharpen your skills in no time. The chipping and pitching green features one bunker and is built on the south side of the driving range and practice green.

Troon Junior Club   

JUNIORS! Are you ready to golf! Don’t miss out on the Troon Junior Club. Gain access to Sterling Grove,  the area’s top golf course, for $15 per round or FREE with a paid adult!
