The Sterling Grove Mahjong Club has been created to help residents make new friends and enjoy playing American Mahjong. Mahjong is a unique cultural tradition of China, and its popularity is now spreading all across the USA. The game is usually played among groups of 3-4 people, with 144 rectangular tiles. The object of the game is to collect winning combinations of 14 tiles, shown on the yearly American Mahjong card. Play will be casual (no money involved!) and open for all levels of players.
