HIKING CLUB | JANUARY MEET-UP

Who is up for a new year's challenge? Join us on Saturday, January 11, 2025 for a wonderful hike at the Mesquite Canyon Loop Trail in the White Tank Mountains! We will meet at the parking lot by Tennis Courts at 7:30 AM for departure. This is a beautiful but challenging hike for experienced hikers only. We will start from Parking 7 and follow the Mesquite Canyon Trail to where it meets Fords Canyon. We will be on Fords Canyon for a bit and then take Willow Canyon and Mesquite Canyon back to the trailhead.

The total distance is 8 miles with an elevation gain of 1562 over some very rocky terrain. The hike itself will take approximately 4 hours and will require at least 3 liters of water, a hearty snack, sturdy hiking boots and poles are highly recommended.
