Andrew Burnheimer is a passionate PGA Lead Assistant Professional with over a decade of experience in the golf industry. He studied in the Professional Golf Management (PGM) program at Florida State University and is a Class A PGA Professional. Currently, Andrew serves as the Lead Assistant Golf Professional at Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club, where he has grown the Men’s League from 10 to over 100 members and oversees 18 annual member tournaments, including the Member-Member and Club Championship. He also manages the golf shop's inventory, purchasing, and merchandising. Prior to Sterling Grove, Andrew worked as a professional caddie, participating in high-profile events such as three PGA Championships (2015- Whistling Straits, 2018- Bellerive, 2020- TPC Harding Park) and the 2019 Senior PGA Championship (Oak Hill). His experience in these prestigious tournaments sharpened his ability to perform under pressure. Andrew is dedicated to helping members improve their skills and enjoy the game. His enthusiasm and commitment make him an invaluable part of the Sterling Grove team. Throughout his career, Andrew has overseen key aspects of golf operations, including managing golf shops, organizing golf outings, and enhancing overall member experience. His expertise also extends to managing inventory, coordinating leagues, and delivering top-notch customer service. Andrew is excited to bring his wealth of experience to Sterling Grove Golf + Country Club, where he aims to continue helping golfers improve their skills and enhance their overall enjoyment of the game.
